WNC Photography Breakfast Group

The purpose of the Breakfast Group is both social and professional. The group is relativley small. We meet every other Friday to share ideas, information and photographs. Currently, we meet for breakfast at 8:30AM at Panera Bread, 1843 Hendersonville Road in Asheville. We learn from each other. We occasionally have formal critiques. These help us improve our craft.

Recnetly the group has taken on a three to four month photographic project: Abandoned Buildings, many of which have been destroyed by fire or neglect. This includes both homes, commercial and industrial structures. Although not definely decided yet, possible titles are "Abandoned" or "Condemned". The project will focus on Western North Carolina, but it is not limited to this area. We are treating this as a photographic treasure hunt.

On completion, we plan to exhibit the work in several cities within Western North Carolina. In addition to the framed pieces shown, high quality fine art prints will be available for sale.

The group's only requirement for membership is a serious interest in photography. Unlike other photo groups, subject matter is not restricted. Click on the "Info" button if you are interested in joining us or for our meeting schedule. Visitors are always welcome.

You may preview potential images for the show by clicking on the "Gallery" button. This will give you access to all ☆☆☆☆☆ rated pictures. To see all ratings you must be a registed member of the group. Remember these images are the copywrited property of the individuals photographer. Furthermore, the images may not be in final, presentation form. Each may be modified before exhibition.
